This frame is printed at exactly 85.60mm × 53.98mm — the ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1 size used by every credit card, debit card, and driver's license. After printing, hold a real card up to it. Finger-wrap strip

How to measure your ring size with a printout

Both gauges on this page measure the same thing — inner circumference and inner diameter — from two different starting points: a bare finger, or a ring you already own.

    Print at 100% scale

    Open the print dialog, set scale to exactly 100% (not "Fit to page" or "Shrink to fit"), and print on A4 paper. Any other scale setting shifts every mm mark on the page.

    Verify with the calibration frame

    Hold any real credit, debit, or ID card up to the printed calibration frame at the top of the sheet. The card's edges should align exactly with the printed border. If they don't, reprint at 100% before measuring.

    Measure with the strip (no existing ring)

    Cut out the finger-wrap strip along its border. Wrap it snugly — not tight — around the base of the finger you'll wear the ring on, just below the knuckle. Note where it overlaps itself and read the nearest size marker.

    Lay a ring that already fits flat on the printed circle gauge. Slide it over each circle until the ring's inner edge lines up with a printed circle's outer edge — that circle's label is your size.

Why a printed gauge is more reliable than a screen

Every ring size — whether it's a US number, a UK letter, or an EU size — ultimately comes down to two physical measurements: the inner circumference and the inner diameter of the ring, in millimeters. An on-screen converter is useful for translating between regional standards once you already know one of those numbers, but it can't hand you the number in the first place. A phone or laptop screen has no reliable absolute scale — the same ruler graphic can render at a different physical size depending on device, browser zoom, and display resolution, so a strip "measured" against a screen is frequently off by a millimeter or more, which is enough to shift a US half-size.

Is a printable ring sizer accurate?
