Have a length in meters? Convert meters to feet
How to convert feet to meters
m = ft × 0.3048
Inches first become a fraction of a foot (divide by 12), then the whole length is multiplied by 0.3048.
6 feet
- 6 ft × (0.3048 m / 1 ft)
- = 1.8288 m
5 ft 10 in
- 10 in ÷ 12 = 0.8333 ft, so 5.8333 ft in total
- 5.8333 × 0.3048 = 1.778 m
